Good Morning. The sun greets the day Spreading warmth Enticing sleepy eyes to open and experience whatever wonders the day holds. After hours of basking in the sunshine of the day Eyes begin to droop Coolness sets in The sun begins to depart. Good Night.
Good Morning – Good Night

Beautiful poem! I especially like the image of the sleeping eyes opening. I love Morning Glory. My grandma hated it. It grew wild through her garden and she would get so mad about it. Now when I see it I think of her, which is what makes it my favourite.
And we plant morning glory each year because we enjoy seeing the open and close every day.
I love this poem! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by.
Bob, your poem is a delight after a long day. Would you like to combine your first photo with the first stanza of your poem for my Nurturing Our Summer Souls Gallery? Love this thought! Off to sleep!
Eyes begin to droop
Coolness (of the ceiling fan) sets in.
Carol, I would be honored to be part of your gallery.
Bob, can you please insert your text (first stanza of your poem) on top of your first photo plus sign your name and add state at the bottom? Thanks so much.
I look forward to receiving your image poem for the gallery.
I love how you framed the beginning and end of your poem with the images of the flower. And I love how the sun and skies wake us up and tuck us in. It’s a comforting and familiar image, one that made me smile today. Thank you. =))
Glad it made you smile. When I finally sat down to write I had no idea what I would end up with.
