Well, here it is Tuesday. Time for my weekly update on the plastic canvas project I started. To refresh your memory, here is what I had completed by last Tuesday:
My goal was to complete this section of the project. It didn’t happen. This is all I accomplished in a week:
I had high hopes, but things happened. No excuses.
I planned to work some each day, but life took over. No excuses.
My goal to finish this section was sidelined by appointments. No excuses.
I need to get back on track, but this week doesn’t look too promising. No excuses.
I could whine and complain about all that needed to be done last week, but I won’t. No excuses.
I just didn’t get too far. Move on.
I plan to do better this week, but looking at me calendar I don’t know. I still have one more unfinished piece that I haven’t even started yet. Tune in net to see my progress.

Looks great so far! I go in spurts with my crocheted blanket where I just can’t seem to work on it. It happens. Good luck with getting more done though!

Exactly! I need to think this way when I work on my blanket! Especially when the blanket is just all the same thing over and over.
Bob, can you believe that I am slicing and responding in the morning instead of sliding in before midnight? Your project is bright and cheery and even with life distractors you found time to finish it. Wonderful!
Carol, I still have some backstitches to put on this piece as well as completing the second part of this as well. I still have my work cut out for me.
I am curious to see what the next pattern is about. A rabbit with candy?

I still love reading and hearing about your progress, though! What’s the quotation? “Improvement counts, no matter how small.” That’s probably up in some corporate office somewhere, right?
I will say I did get quite a bit done this afternoon…more that I thought I would.
Even a little progress, is some progress. It’s better than no progress. Let’s see what next Tuesday, brings.
I agree. I did get a bit of work done yesterday so nest week I should be farther along.
Every little bit is headed toward the finish line…your project could be my metaphor for this writing experience each day.
Each stitch added is one less stitch to do.
