SOLSC Day 29

Here it is, Sunday.  Two days left to this challenge.  I thought I would make a list of 10 things I am grateful for during this time.  Here they are in no special order.

  1.  Even though I can’t go to church, I can still watch Mass on EWTN.
  2. I am staying home, but I am not by myself.  I have Kathy and three cats to keep me company.
  3. The freezer is well stocked for the moment so I know we can eat.
  4. With the warmer weather I can go outside and do some yard work.
  5. I have stacks of books to read.
  6. I can still contact family and friends by phone or social media.
  7. The March Challenge gave me one thing to focus on during the day.  I enjoy reading  other bloggers and being inspired by their words.
  8. We have plenty of good music we can listen to and enjoy.
  9. Looking out the window and seeing birds at the feeder and daffodils and forsythia in bloom makes me smile.
  10. I still have my health.

May all these continue to be true and to comfort you. Oh, that the weather outside works to surpass the weather inside (my head, that is).

  2. Yes, we absolutely have to remind ourselves of all the things we can be grateful for, despite the circumstances. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. So many things to be thankful for. I am especially grateful for the connection to other slicers this year.

  4. All things worthy of gratitude. These things are on my list, too.

  5. Amen to your list, very fitting for gratitude, especially the last item. Oh, you can also add crafting to help while away the time as well.

  6. I had thought about adding crafting. We really have to look at our blessings or we can get ourselves into a deep funk.

  7. What a wonderful list of gratitudes. You are right in what you say here in the comments: we need to keep looking for our blessings so we don’t sink into the funks. I am grateful to have a well-stocked freezer too!

  8. That’s an excellent gratitude list. I was just thinking of mine in my head the other day. Maybe I should write it down. It ends up looking like a lot when it’s all there in writing. And if there’s that many things to be grateful for, things can’t be that bad or scary, right??
