SOLSC Day 29
Yesterday we spent out first day at the Lancaster Quilt Show. Normally this show is held earlier in the month and it is good for several posts during the Challenge. This year not so. I guess I will need to spread these over the next few Tuesdays.
To whet your appetite here are some pictures from the vendor’s mall

I would love, love, love to go to a quilt show! Thanks for the slice!
We are looking forward to going back today to view the award winning quilts. They will be featured in future posts.
I have no idea how to quilt, but I love looking at quilts. They are masterpieces! can’t wait to see more photos. Did you buy any or does your wife have an eye on a new pattern for her to make?
She is always on the lookout for new patterns. Although, I did buy her a kit yesterday.
Quilts are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the photos. I will have to follow your blog to find out more as I know quits are not just beautiful, some of them tell stories and share a lot.
It is amazing what quilters can do with fabric.
Textiles can be astounding art! You’ve shown that here.I love the one, the blue star with a spray of stars.Something in me responds to a lack of pattern…hmmm. Happy Day 2.
Today we went back and saw the main section of quilts including the show winners. Unbelievable. I will most likely start writing about them on Tuesday. Maybe a hint for tomorrow’s post.
Always love your posts about quilts, Bob! Thanks for the photos and the poem.
You are welcome, Rose. What we saw today was amazing.
Yay! Time for the annual quilt show–which I get to attend thanks to your blog. Looking forward to the photos and amazing art to come.
The show will start on Tuesday with maybe a little preview tomorrow.
Photos and a poem. You outdid yourself!
Thank you. Sometimes I just get lucky I guess. 🙂
I love Seeing the mix of colors and people.I hope we get some close ups tomorrow.
Maybe a taste of what’s to come tomorrow, but the real show will start on Tuesday.
Love your perspective – of looking down and seeing so much. Such gorgeous quilts. One of these days I am finally going to make a quilt – rather than just collect books and magazines on them! Enjoy your weekend!
Lovely. Does Kathy prefer traditional or modern quilts? Does she blog about her quilting?
She prefers Traditional and really loves applique. She doesn’t have a blog.
So glad to see your quilt gallery… I think it is a tradition for #SOLC — you slicing about the quilt show. Have a great time!
We really did enjoy the show.
